Replit custom domain not working?

A Replit custom domain fails to verify or get SSL when the A and replit-verify TXT records do not match exactly, an AAAA or second A record conflicts, Cloudflare proxies the record, or a CAA record blocks Let's Encrypt. In Publishing, Domains: add the exact domain, then copy the A and TXT records Replit shows.
Add both at your DNS provider. Apex CNAMEs are not supported; use the A record.
Keep only one A record on that name and remove AAAA records.
On Cloudflare, set the record to DNS only (grey cloud).
If you have CAA records, allow Let's Encrypt.
www is a separate domain: add it as its own entry with its own records.
Keep the replit-verify TXT record forever; certificate renewal needs it.
Still stuck after propagation? Disconnect and reconnect the domain to force a fresh certificate.
