Works in the Bolt preview, broken when deployed

Blank white page. Vite bakes environment variables into the bundle at build time and only exposes ones prefixed VITE_. If VITE_SUPABASE_URL and the anon key are not set in your host's build settings, the app crashes on load. See supabaseUrl is required.
404 when you refresh a page. A single-page app needs a rewrite to index.html. On Netlify that is a _redirects file containing /* /index.html 200. See SPA 404 on refresh.
Login redirects to the wrong place. Supabase Site URL and Redirect URLs must include your live domain.
Data saves for nobody, or for everybody. Supabase RLS denies by default (empty results, error 42501) or was opened up with a blanket policy to "make it work".
Payments. Checkout redirects but the order never unlocks, usually an unverified or misconfigured webhook.

When to stop prompting

If three attempts in a row have not fixed the same error, restore a working version and get the exact error text from the browser console and your host's deploy log. Repeated prompts on a wrong diagnosis can spread changes across many files.
